Rustam Minnikhanov meets the Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique to Russia Mario Saraiva Ngwenya
On February 11, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Mozambique to Russia Mario Sarayva Ngvenya.
Ngvenya arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan on February 10-12, 2020. During his visit, the Ambassador will study the economic and investment potential of Tatarstan, meet the leadership of Tatarstan Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and visit a number of industrial enterprises, including the Kazan Helicopter Plant, MVEN Company. He also plans to get acquainted with the activities of the technopark in the sphere of high technologies IT park in Kazan.
During the meeting, Minnikhanov and the Ambassador discussed the issues of development and strengthening of trade and economic relations of Tatarstan and Mozambique under the friendly Russian-Mozambique relations. “We highly appreciate the opportunity to establish cooperation between Tatarstan and Mozambique,” Minnikhanov said.
Tatarstan President briefed about the socio-economic development of the republic. He also said that Tatarstan established close cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit" is annually held with the support of the OIC in Kazan .
Minnikhanov invited Mario Saraiva Ngwenya and the Mozambique delegation to take part in the summit to be held on June 18-20, 2020.
