Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a business lunch with Sheikh Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa and business representatives of Bahrain

On April 8, during his working visit to Bahrain, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a business lunch with Sheikh Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa and business representatives of Bahrain

Business representatives of Bahrain were interested in the economy of the republic, its investment opportunities, history and culture.

Sheikh Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa is a cousin of the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and accompanies Tatarstan President during his working visit to Bahrain.

Sheikh Hamad bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa visited Tatarstan in 2015. In particular, he visited the ancient city of Bolgar, met authority of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Tatarstan and Russian Islamic University and took part in the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Sheikh had meetings with Minnikhanov several times in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and considers himself a friend of Tatarstan.

The meeting and the business lunch with business representatives of Bahrain were held in friendly atmosphere, businessmen decided  to visit Russia and Tatarstan in the nearest future.
