On June 7th, tatars gathered in Dubai for Iftar

On June 7th, tatars gathered in Dubai for Iftar, that was organized by activists of the tatar community of the United Arab Emirates. The event was attended by 35 people living in various emirates, natives of the republics of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, the Crimea, the Orenburg region, as well as Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
The event was held in the cultural and educational format.
Such events help to gain useful contacts and enrich cultural and national unity. The families that visited the event with children emphasized the value of such meetings for the sake of raising children and instilling love for their native culture and the motherland.
"In our association of Tatars in the United Arab Emirates already more than 130 people. And we are very pleased that today we have gathered 35 people. This is one of the very first events where such a big number of Tatars took part. It is very symbolic that we gathered in the holy month of Ramadan. We believe that in future Tatar events in Dubai will be held more often and we will soon organize the first Tatar Sabantuy in Dubai and other events in the spirit of tatars traditions, "- noted the organizers of Iftar Alfiya Badretdinova and Mariana Masnaveeva.
The Representative Office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Dubai will actively promote the activities aimed at developing the acquaintance, mutual assistance, spiritual and cultural interaction of compatriots, tatars, as well as representatives of the Turkic and brother nations in Russia and the CIS. During this holy month of Ramadan, we wish to our brothers compatriots, as well as all Muslims - prosperity, welfare and peace!
